Just REAL Karate!
"No matter how you may excel in the art of Karate, and in your scholastic endeavors, nothing is more important than your behavior and your humanity as observed in daily life." ~ Gichin Funakoshi
Knowledge
With over 40 years experience Sensei Goral Teaches the art of Kaze-Kai Shotokan Karate with the help of his many black belts contributing their own knowledge and experience.
Confidence
Sensei Goral reminds us class is for making mistakes, providing us the opportunity to correct and learn from them. This process enhances skills and breeds confidence. Confidence has impact beyond training and leads better resolution or even avoidance of real world problems.
Power/Endurance
Through rigorous training we gain speed, power and endurance. The instructors at Kaze-Kai encourage you to push yourself for improvement. Growth through steps, what matters most is being better at the end of class than at the beginning.
Everyone benefits from learning and practicing a martial art. Karate sharpens the mind, body and overall health of an individual.
The instructors at Kaze-Kai are driven to teach and are guided by the pursuit of perfection.
Body tone, flexibility, endurance, self-discipline and self-confidence are some of the many benefits to be gained at Kaze-Kai. Age and gender are no barriers. In general class everyone works together. The young are treated as adults and with adults training along side them, better behavior and discipline comes naturally. These skills will become habits which are then carried forward through the teen years into adulthood.
However one size does not fit all and we understand that everyone learns differently. This is where we specialize because our instructors learn about our students through observation and collaboration with each other. With our many black belts as guides each student gets the individualized attention they need.
-Be part of a tradition-
A common misconception about tradition is that it doesn't simply mean "Do as the founders did." as it does "Seek what the founders sought." Because we may discover a better way to train and that's the point, discovery. Seeking a better way to train, to defend oneself, to improve oneself. Be the best you that you can be.
